Beautiful first day of May with Azaleas and Rhododendrons Blooming

Our guests have started to get up early just to have their cup of coffee or tea out on the deck.  They are memorized by the beauty of the mountains, glistening Lake Tomahawk, and our blooming gardens. Yesterday morning our guests ate outside on the deck and talked about the cute new goslings on the lake.   Our hikers trekked the Greybeard trail.  They loved the Montreat trails and was so happy to find such a great trail and it was within eight minutes of Arbor House of Black Mountain.  We moved a bench to a private place on the property  overlooking the Pisgah Forest and it is being taken full advantage.   Most of our guests walked into town to one of our many Black Mountain quaint stores and awesome restaurants.   We had two couples for their anniversary.  They celebrated at wonderful restaurants in nearby Asheville.   What a way to start the season.  We are looking forward to seeing more travelers to our “Home away from Home”.
